GROWING & BUILDING TOGETHER

Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy began in 1956 when a small group of faithful believers led by B.B. and Cora Calfee started a Sunday school in a converted chicken house in southeast Cleveland, Tennessee. Through prayer, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to God's work, the church grew from humble beginnings into a thriving congregation known for its vibrant worship, strong community, and unwavering faith. Over the decades, generations of members gave their time, resources, and talents to establish the church's current campus and create a place where countless lives have been transformed by the gospel.*

 

Today, Spring Place Church continues that legacy as we build a new sanctuary to serve future generations. This new space represents our commitment to making room for continued growth, meaningful worship, discipleship, and ministry opportunities. Just as those who came before us stepped out in faith to build for the future, we are carrying that vision forward by creating a place where more people can encounter Christ, find community, and grow in their relationship with Him. This sanctuary will stand as a testament to God's faithfulness and a foundation for the ministry and impact of Spring Place Church for years to come.

BUILDING PROGRESS

November 2024

The foundational footprint was marked out and prepped for consturction to begin

December 2024

Ground was offically broken and construction began

March 2025

Gravel was spread and prepped for foundation

May 2025

Concrete was poured for foundation

June 2025

Framework went up and was set

April 2026

Structural steel was delivered

May 2026

Structural steel was set and bolted into foundation

What's Next

The structural support is up and we are currently waiting on beams and trusses for roofing structure
