Ron and Phyllis have been married for over 50 years and have spent most of that time in education and ministry. Ron has a Master’s Degree in Natural Science, and Phyllis has a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision. Ron taught science at Ocoee Middle School for 33 years before retiring in 2010. Phyllis taught Latin and Bible History for 40 years at a private school and Bradley Central High School before retiring in 2006. Ron also spent 2 years in the Army, during which time he served in Vietnam.
They have been members for 40 years here at Spring Place, where they currently serve as Pastors of Senior Ministry. Ron leads the Sunday School class and is a member of the finance committee, while Phyllis leads the Wednesday night Bible class. Some of their favorite memories include the many day trips and extended trips to Lancaster, PA. They just love how fun-loving, gifted, generous, and caring the senior members are. Most of all, they love how they all feel like one, big family!
